True testimonial of how Dr Paul Kramer helped a patient with Fibromyalgia.

Dr. Kramer: Okay, it’s rolling. Well, it’s Dr. Paul Kramer and I’m here with Amy, and she’s going to tell us a little bit about her care. What kind of problems did you have before coming in to see us?

Amy: Well, I had an accident in 2006, where I was standing in the swimming pool and my son did a back glide into my front tooth and he hit me so hard that I ended up losing my front tooth. At that point, I feel like I had really bad whiplash and I’ve been trying to fix this problem ever since. I’ve gone to a different chiropractor for a whole year, I went to acupuncture weekly, went to my doctor because he gave me Cymbalta for fibromyalgia because I felt it was all in my legs and my hips and especially around my back that I just felt like this accident, a lot of times, onset fibromyalgia. I feel like that’s what I had, but Cymbalta did not help at all. I felt exactly the same before as after. The other chiropractor, I felt better for like two days, but it wasn’t fixing the problem, and acupuncture would make me feel better for about three day, but it never really resolved the problem.

I finally got so disgusted, because this was since 2006 and I always felt like my posture was not good and I kept on feeling like this accident that I had had to do with my fibromyalgia, that I Googled fribromyalgia and I came up with your website. I thought, I’m going to just give this a try because I am so sick of feeling… I remember the first time I came to you, I actually was crying, saying that I feel like 80 years old and there’s something that’s not right with me.

I have to be honest, I feel so much better now. I can tell I’m standing way straighter, and I used to have a knot right here in my back. My husband I remember he would always rub it in church trying to work that out. Since I’ve been coming to you, that knot’s gone. I have to thank you for everything that you’ve done.

Dr. Kramer: All over your body’s feeling a lot better?
Amy: A lot better.

Dr. Kramer: What would you say to somebody who has fibromyalgia that is a little skeptical or doesn’t know if they should come in or what, what would you say?

Amy: I think it’s worth a try. I live in Racine, and this office is in Menomonee Falls (now in Germantown). It does take me about an hour and ten minutes to get here. I honestly think it’s worth every minute of it, because you have to think that your health is for the rest of your life, and I was starting to think that my health, that’s all I was thinking about was this constant backache. When you don’t have your health you don’t have anything, and it’s worth the time and money to just get rid of this.

Dr. Kramer: Great. Well thank you very much for doing a little video for us, and we’ll look forward to more great things in the future. Thanks, Amy.
